Something I have been thinking about a lot and have meant to ask the smarter football minds on here is this- how much of the dropped passes might be because Beck doesnt throw the most catchable ball? Im not stating this as fact, just wondering if it might be true. It’s just really odd that this was an issue across the whole of the receiving corps- including players who hadn't had such issues before.

I don’t know if people remember during the Stafford years we had a lot of dropped passes and people basically said Stafford was too talented and threw such a hard ball that it was causing it not to be very catchable. And that he would need to learn to put more touch on his passes. Again, I don’t know much of what I am talking about here, but it seems consistent with Carson’s strengths and weaknesses as a passer. He zips in the intermediate throws but doesnt put the right air under the deep throws.

Anyway, I’ll hang up and listen. I may need to bump this as I am posting it so late (fits of insomnia)
