It was an ugly thing to do but a hate crime? Maybe a misdemeanor. Get a life people. These black activist that hate white people with a passion are setting back race relations 50 years. If a black person wants to walk around with Malcolm X on their t-shirt I don't give a rip, it is (or was) a free country.

No he didn't. He said it was a "terroristic act." Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said he's considering the possibility that the act was a hate crime. What message do you think was being sent by whomever left the flags at Ebenezer (assuming it wasn't a prank)?

It was an ugly thing to do no matter how it was intended. Just like the thing with Farrakhan
calling for a race war. People like this should do a little extra time for domestic terror. Not hate
crime but just terror. But whether it's poll place intimidation or playing the knock-out game or
gang raping people with your buddies you should pay the price and then some.
When I see Rev Al and Calypso Louis demanding retribution and calling for riots and walking away
scot free. No way. I think if you hang a rebel flag, or a noose, or wear a hood to someones house to intimidate them..... terror.
No more bull. If these folks won't get along, send a signal. This aint Baltimore or Private Idaho.

So y'all are all assuming it was a terrorist act. I think it was more likely some guys who like the Confederate flag because they are proud Southerners and got ticked off at what the black community is doing to it.

I'll ask again: if that were the case, what message were they trying to send? One more question: how do you proudly display the Confederate flag?

And FWIW, blacks aren't doing anything to the flag; racist a-holes are by using it as their symbol.

Wouldn't surprise me if the whole thing wasn't made up by the church leaders themselves , just like the whole southern black church burning nonsense when slick willie was in office

I believe that is exactly what happened. They want this issue to remain in the press, and they will continue to pull stunts like this.

It's starting to go quiet again, so expect something soon.

Yeah, maybe they can find another kid to shoot up a black church.
