Embarrassing

We have 2 Senators who act like we are Calif.

Warlock answers to his own bible, his own translation that supports his political aspirations. He preaches the importance of man from the pulpit.

Nothing Warlock professes is scriptural. How anyone from Christian, to Muslim, to atheist can’t admit his hypocrisy against what he professes to believe is amazing.

But he gets paid well to preach to the voter he wants.

I mean, it’s a party line vote. Can you be mad that democrats voted the way democrats do?

They are representing the values of the people who elected them. It’s what I hope any senator would do.
They were elected to represent ALL the citizens of the state of GA, not just the 20% who believe the trans bullshit.
I thought Ossoff had better sense what with Kemp looking over his shoulder but guess not.

Ok, a couple of things here.

First, there's no telling what kind of ridiculous amendments were attached to the bill. It gets some noble name, and is then full of pork. I don't have the time to read the whole damn thing, so I may be wrong, but a lot of bills are voted against for the amendments, not the meat and potatoes.

Second, I have two girls. One plays varsity tennis, one plays middle school soccer. I give zero shits about something that affects less than 2% of the population. If they played against a trans kid (and I have no idea if they have or not), I wouldn't be crazy about it, but don't think it warrants the national discussion that it has turned into.

I understand having a position, but why do y'all care so much?

That’s not how politics works. It is not feasible to represent all interests of everyone. So, we have parties and platforms and the candidates tell you how they’ll vote. They have done that here. Nothing surprising.

As the father of a college GK, I’m glad she never had to play against a male. The girls kicked it hard enough.

That’s the problem. The utter hypocrisy that is ignored is hard to understand. A man who professes to be a preacher yet doesn’t preach Christianity.

A preacher who values the power of man over God is a liar.

I don’t disagree with you here in most cases. You are 100 percent correct. Except 80 percent or more of the public is against this. They are not voting for the people who elected them. They are voting this way so they stay in the good graces of the Democrat politicians. That is the problem. This is right now the absolute biggest issue the democrats have. No matter how unpopular the policy they have, everyone has to be in lock step. It used to be a huge strength. The public has grown tired of this. Every poll continues to tell the left this and they ignore it. The lunatics of the party are holding them hostage. I guarantee you neither Warnock or Ossoff beleive this privately. Too afraid to think independently of their party.

Because your reasoning is ass backwards. Yes, it’s less than 2% of the population, but it’s not about them. It’s about the 100% of the girls that are being affected and denied the opportunity to compete on a level playing field.

I don’t need a tutorial on politics. This is an issue any fool can understand yet GA had 2 Senators who apparently do not.
Read “Profiles in Coursge” by JFK. Obviously not many in DC have done so.

In words of Ray Wylie Hubbard, “It’s not that much harder to do what’s right……”

I would like to know what was in the bill. The attachments to the bill could be reason for the NO vote. In the past he has reached across the isle and worked with members from the other side. I think this is part of the reason the country is always divided because we get the attention gainer but not the entire contents of these bills. I'm in the process of moving back home to Georgia and I follow things closely in the home state.

Every D voted the same way. Moreover, if the R's threw something in that was really disturbing, MSNBC, NYT and CNN would be screaming about it from every hilltop. There is no such thing as a clean bill with no other add-on. That's the way it's been done since Congress began.

These aholes are doubling and tripling down on DEI, CRT and Marxism. These pricks suppprt the America-hating, Hamas-supporting douche bags at Columbia. It's why the GOP has suddenly become the party of the working class.

Talk about ass backwards.

That's only true if the fraction of trans kids in America play with or against 100% of the girls.

This is the same kind of reasoning as people that think lottery tickets are a good investment.

I value other peoples opinion and as always the mention of DEI and CRT continues to come up. I retired from military not because of DEI and CRT. I had a successful military career because of my hard work and dedication to serving this country. I have two masters degrees one in organizational leadership and the other in public administration and at no time did DEI or CRT write the papers and do the research for me. DEI and CRT is a bunch of nonsense that is used to continue to keep the country divided along with the socialism statements when people don't align with what one believes they should align with.

I’m talking about 100% of the girls competing against or on the team with a trans. It’s not that hard to understand.
BTW, Mega Millions and Power Ball are both up to around 300 million, it’s about time to buy again.

And it requires federal legislation? Can we work big to small?

Just admit this is culture war bullshit and we'll move on.

Not really. After Trump signed the EO the NCAA came out with a stand. They were just waiting on some direction from the government.
Sure it’s a culture issue and we have much larger problems but surely we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I wish it was 100% girls competing against girls! There should be no exceptions for this but you have a good point about buying tickets. I think it's time for me to buy on again. I hope they get this crap straight and protect our girls.
