I know this has been beat to death, but just saw the segment on TV.
  1. It is shot like one of those Netflix/Dateline 'murder porn' docs
  2. Jeremy Schaap asks the researcher how the incidents compare to other universities - she flat out admits that "it could be more or less, it doesn't matter - it's the pattern that is the problem"
  3. Quotes from CKS/UGAA stating the measures they have taken to curtail the incidents, but reporter asserts that it is clearly not enough
  4. ESPN obviously getting themselves off to the notion of bringing down the UGA dynasty
I'll be the first to admit that it is frustrating that these kids need to stop the driving shenanigans - especially after the loss of 2 lives. It's disturbing that they can't simply stop burning out/drag-racing...etc. that is taking away from all of the greatness on the field. But I'm not sure what can be done beyond suspensions/kicking players off the team - and even that won't satisfy the AJCs of the world.

BTW... I'm not sure this wasn't asked for when you're giving a bunch of kids hundreds of thousands of dollars in NIL - what else are they going to spend their money on? They're gonna buy fast cars, and guess what they're gonna do with em?

Not stating anything new... Maybe venting. Just annoying that this seems like an extreme version of 'kids being kids' and it's causing people to question UGA's culture, when we probably have a better culture than the rest of CFB. Oh well.... Kirby said 'the wind blows hardest at the mountain top.'
