If you remove the six lowest rated players, who will probably not be counted in the final value rating, the value per player is 151.
Now, before you call foul, let me explain.
My cutoff was 5.7. We had two 5.5 and for 5.7’s rated.
Bama has one player rated 5.7, the 21st player.
So if you look at what is happening, right now, it is comparable.
Now, moving forward.
UGA has 11 players rated 5.9 or higher
9 -5.9, 2 -6.0
Bama has 9 rated 5.9 or higher
4- 5.9, 5- 6.0
So currently, in the rating realm, little discernible differences in the 5.9 and 6.0 player (if ratings were truly realistic)
UGA has 11 of their 13 ratable players 5.9 or higher.
The cornerstone players committed to both schools are interchangeable.
If we close as normal, we might have only a 5.7 or two rated in the 20 counted. A strong close has it 5.8 or higher.
The values of the schools in the schools in the top five, most cases, is interchangeable.
We are recruiting quite well right now thank you. The rating now is misleading.
