Went to WalMart to stock up on grill meats, sides, tonic and water. Checked out, went to my car and loaded groceries. Saw the tonic, water and bloody mary mix and realized I didn't scan them at the self serve register. Dragged my old 61 year old ass back up the stairs to pay for what I missed.
What concerned me most was how easy and innocent it was to walk out without paying something. As for my mind, it's fading. It's not the first time it happened. One time I forgot to scan a can of beans causing me to make the extra trip back up the stairs and go back in line.
I seem to not have any issues recalling football games in the 70s and 80s. Funny how the mind works.
