I’m pretty fired up to go to my first UGA game since I moved to Florida. Even though it’s not in Athens, I’m looking forward to seeing the Dawgs play. I grew up going to games with my dad. He’s a Tech grad, and we went to some really neat road games growing up. It was actually our trip to Athens in the 1990’s that convinced me to be a Dawg. I fell in love with the campus and Athens that day!
I’ve mentioned this in another post, but I have ALS. This is very likely my last football season. I’m on a ventilator for almost all of the day, and I’m extremely weak and fragile. I know where I’m going, and I’m completely at peace with it. When my wife told my dad that my bucket list dream was to go to the Georgia-Ga Tech game, they made it happen. So on Saturday, I’ll be at the game with dad and brother one final time. Just wanted to share my excitement with the Vent!
