The performer Kendrick Lamar last night is a big deal because there is a very big legal battle between the two Lamar and Drake. Drake is suing for defamation because Lamar has exposed that in short Drake is a pedophile who had relations with a 14 year old girl. Lamar had quite a few little nice spicy extras in the performance, but I hope this helps show why the drama is being frequently discussed.
