For those posting on the "new" board for the old chatters

Rec'd email I was being misquoted in a derogatory way. Here is EXACTLY what I said:

<Slow season for sports, especially football. Hopefully it will pick up. Frankly don't miss all day pics, political, racial, etc. stuff myself. Or at least not when the UGA name is tied to it on a public board.>

I did not call anyone racist or " really terrible". In fact, in my earlier post a couple of days after the change (can't find that) said the same thing as above AND that there were a lot of good people on the chat I've met. Would especially miss Waycross's exploits. I could have thrown in bashing of so many groups (like gays, no I'm not, but have some friends, worthless govt employees...yes, I am, etc) My biggest concern ever was for UGA and what it represented in the public.

Hate many are giving up and I do hope it picks up in the fall. But this is a free board and as Radi and Dasher have said, it's out of their hands. I am SURE if they could have fixed it, they would have. I admit I don't have much patience. I don't know how they've done it. : )

Hmmmmm..................11:15 on a Wednesday. Are you on break or lunch hour? If not, kindly get back to work. I don't sign your paycheck, or pay for your government computer, for you to be posting on a message board. And before you say that most of us are at work while we do it, the rest of us are none of your concern. Most of us don't work for the government, so we're not costing YOU anything.

Yup, as well as all of the other government workers who have gotten it their head that:
A). They don't have to be productive
B). They can't be fired
C). U.S. Rank and file citizens are a pain in the ass
Not saying you are one of these. I have actually had very good service on occasion when dealing with various government entities, including the IRS. Unfortunately, the Federal government has gotten so bloated that the bad outweighs the good most of the time.

Agreed, I work for the Feds, I make my work decisions based on the premise of "what would I do if I owned this business," So, you get your monies worth with me, as for my management chain, if it were my business, 90% of them wouldn't work for me. Not because of any personality issues, I get a long with everyone. The problem is with their qualifications, experience, decision making and the way they spend taxpayer dollars. You would freak out if you knew how these agencies are really wasting money, I have to restrain myself on occasion from getting in these peoples faces, some government authorized programs are just straight up theft.

That's the nature of the beast. It's not their money, and there are no consequences for poor performance so that's what happens. In the meantime, we dramatically underpay our servicemen, and on a local level our police officers. The only good people you get in those two jobs are those who have a calling to serve. It's also partly to blame for some of the latest problems with the police. The pay is low so the local governments can't be picky when they hire.

On fed labor dept side, it's on the people we serve. I can't say any I work with are sorry workers. None. Especially during the recession when SO many were out of work and hurting.

Now some of the people in DC who think they know what we do and come up with ridiculous stuff while sitting in their glassed in offices? Absolutely. If they worked the field (I have to travel 7 counties) they couldn't do it. They certainly wouldn't put the absolute barriers to doing the job if they knew how to do the job. But......there are always ways around them. : )

Those were the old days. Said Woman was a sig pic and she was in a full bikini. Ok, maybe there was one shot where you could maybe see nipple through a wet t-shirt but I digress. There doesn't need to be endless threads of the same stuff. I get that is the only thing some of those posters bring to the table but maybe it is time for them to think a little outside the box or keep it confined to a singular thread. If I want to see bikini shots all I have to do is Google it.
