1) Do you approve of an unvetted open border for migrants?

2) Do you believe in complete citizenship amnesty for every illegal who has entered the country?

3) Do you believe the country owes anything to someone who has entered our country illegally?

4. When someone, with malice, murders another human being with a weapon, should the murderer be executed? If no, why not?

5. Should abortion be legal?

* At what level (Fed or state)?
* If yes, should abortions be prohibited at a
certain point in the pregnancy? When is that
point?

6. Is conceived life, human life? If no, when does it
become a human?

7. Should pot be legalized?

8. Should teachers be allowed private
conversations and guidance with students
without permission of parents?

9. Should a politician, on any level, be allowed to
sell benevolence to a voter?

10. What matters most in your life decisions?

a) feelings and applying feelings
b) scientific truth, applying compassion
c) feeling with compassion, applying feelings
d) truth with compassion, applying truth

11) What do you consider the most important issue today?

12) What is the greatest country ever existed?

13) Would you allow you son to play football?
* for Tennessee?
* for Florida?

14) Should biological men be allowed to participate in women’s sports?

15) Would you subject your four year old to hormone blockers for sexual transition for any reason?

We talk about much of this but never state how we feel about it. Just tell it.

You seem to miss the point. I do leave out my point.

1) We argue point here, with many unwilling to say what they believe. They just want to argue political agenda and call down the rival. They hide behind agenda and political leaning. Both sides.
2) I do not rebuttal the comments. An opinion on direct points is a personal decision.

If we want to discuss a political point, discuss the point, not just post flamer insults.

I have read from two guys whom I disagree with quite often, but found much common ground in their responses. That is healthy. And I appreciate the response.

This isn’t “I got cha” post. Just wanting to break it down to points.

We have to defend the right to have an opinion. We can arm wrestle over the details.

Most of us agree on a lot more than we disagree (it may not seem that way but it's true). Something that gets lost here from time to time.

I agree with this, but the bottom line here there is a rather large part of this board that believes their views are the direct revelation of the Good Lord into their soul and if you aren't close to them, then you're evil or getting to close to the devil to really tell you apart from him. It did not use to be this way 5 decades ago or so, but Falwell and others since him basically made a particular political agenda a check point of whether or not you are Christian. And of course now we're living in the wacky world where the morals of their leaders don't even matter to the "moral majority".

I think there are plenty saying what they believe. What I find is there are two sides with very strict guidelines to what those sides are and if you are on a certain side with a certain poster, you refuse to call him out even if he's posting insane nonsense. (You as in "most on this board")

I just remember you asking these things before. Maybe you didn't. But they have been asked and talked about before. I'd say 99 percent on here had the same opinions they had 10 years ago.

Wow, we arent far off at all.

I think abortion should be 15 weeks and as far as 11. we agree except I think the threats to our system of government are coming from inside the government ie the DOJ, FBI and CIA .

kckd,

You always seem to go back to agendas. So when someone disagrees, they become part of a labeled group.

I asked some flat basic questions, not agenda. You seem to ignore that because you have labeled me as some moral, Christian, conservative, maga group.

So why do basic questions offend you.

I found common ground. The problem is when labels and agenda is thrown out, the specific details get lost.

I believe we have much common ground in those questions. But you call me out as som

Fair response. And yes, 9 was my intention lead. I was curious what all sides considered there.

I don’t rebuttal any responses. I appreciate them. Gives us all perspective.

Perspective removes the labels.

Thanks for the replies.

1. No. And the thing is hardly anyone actually does.

2. No. See above.

3. No. Who says that?

4. No. I'm a Christian. It's hard, but I'm supposed to believe no one is beyond the possibility of redemption.

5. Yes.
Fed level. No third trimester unless mother's life is at stake or child will be still born or can't live outside the wound. If doctors want to present cases to move it up further or back further, I'm willing to listen to either side. Don't really care what lawmakers say. They are not doctors, at least most of them.

6. No. At least not in the way we think of humans outside the womb. This is proven by almost every culture on Earth in how they deal with fetuses outside of abortion (In vitro, spontaneous abortions (miscarriages), valuing the mother's life over the unborn vs. valuing the child's life over the mother's once born)

7. From what I've read, doesn't make a lot of sense to make it illegal if alcohol is legal.

8. Too vague of a question. Would need more fleshing out.

9. I seriously don't know what this is referring to. I'd have to know that before responding.

10. reason and experience

11. Disinformation

12. Merle Haggard's stuff.

13. Yes. Yes. Yes. (Though I would not actually have the ability to stop him doing the other two if he wanted.)

14. No. The majority of people agree on this.

15. No. The vast majority of people agree on this.

The vast majority on here state how they feel about almost all of this stuff from what I've seen.

I have read from two guys whom I disagree with quite often, but found much common ground in their responses. That is healthy. And I appreciate the response.

This isn’t “I got cha” post. Just wanting to break it down to points.

We have to defend the right to have an opinion. We can arm wrestle over the details.
lol,
like This?

Thanks kckd!

* for Tennessee?
* for Florida?

14) Should biological men be allowed to participate in women’s sports?

15) Would you subject your four year old to hormone blockers for sexual transition for any reason?

We talk about much of this but never state how we feel about it. Just tell it.

1. No
2. No
3. No
4. Yes
5. Legal at the federal level to the most minimal threshold possible. 15 weeks seems to be a strong consensus point. From there, states should be able to opt for longer terms, if the majority of state voters decide as such.
6. 100% yes. Life begins at conception. That makes my answer to 5 very difficult.
7. 100% yes. I have yet to hear a legitimate reason as to why it should be kept illegal. States should be able to tax sales, and ideally this would help avoid (or minimize) income-based tax at the state level. Same goes for sports betting.
8. No, unless there is a clear sign of physical or sexual abuse. Actual abuse, not "I believe I'm a cat and my parents don't affirm my mental disorder" type of "abuse".
9. I'm not sure what this is asking. At the most basic level, I see no problem with it. But if there's something more specific you're alluding to, I'd appreciate some elaboration on this.
10. D from your list. Family and friends overall.
11. The moral decay of society. The economy is up there as well, because of how surprisingly closely it ties to that.
12. USA, far and away. No country has ever, or will ever, come close.
13. Yes, if they offered him the best opportunity to grow. In UF's case, no if it's the same boosters who lied to Jaden Rashada.
14. No. Although, men in the WNBA would actually make that league watchable.
15. No. People who do that deserve life in prison.

So #8 and #15 are a kind of Red Hearings because as far as I'm aware no one of any significance is mandating legislation for this to be the case.

Teachers would much rather kids go to their parents to discuss these difficult issues. More professional resources should be allocated to school systems (i.e. more psychologist, therapist and counselors) taking this responsibility off teachers because more and more parents aren't and that's the problem.

#15 no one is mandating this type of medical care for all children so why should the govenrement care what is 100% a family issue. Would I for my son no because his mother and I have never face the issue some other families must.

#7- follow the money. Big pharma does not want this and fought tooth and nail to not allow med marijuana. Reminds me of the movie Rainmaker when the insurance co did not cover a certain procedure until they were profiting from doing there own. Until big pharma gets in the pot business they will fight it tooth and nail.

Did anyone else read the thread title and read it as "Forget the potlicking"?
