I will dig into this more later, but for Cliffs:

- Case settled
- Uneven distribution based on TV viewership (funny, it means 2-10 FSU would have made more than all the other teams this year). FSU and Clemson are supposed to be able to generate another $15 million per year, putting them closer to SEC/B1G money.
- Exit fee and GOR reduced each year over the next 5-6 years - they will be able to get out in 2030 for $75 million (this would be the first time anyone would be interested in them)

I am a little surprised that they settled, but here are some random thoughts:

- No one (meaning the SEC and B1G) wants them. They have no place to go and can't afford to, yet.
- Presumably, they and UNC can afford to move in 2030 if they have a destination to go to.
- I am still skeptical about the SEC and B1G wanting them.
- UNC has the NCSU problem that's baked into NC politics.

The main reasons I am skeptical that FSU and Clemson would move, other than there being no appetite for them, are:

1. They have proven to be unreliable partners. Why would the B1G or SEC trust them? They have not been good partners, challenging the ACC GOR and agreements. Who wants that?

2. It wouldn't be in their best interests. At best, the SEC/B1G will get 4 AQs, while the ACC will get 2. If they are good enough to be a top 4 team in the P2, they will get an AQ in the ACC each year and, as a conference champ, get better seeding. If they are in the P2, it's less likely they get in the CFP as often, and when they do, they could be a lower seed. After being total assholes, it's amazing that the best thing for them might be to stay in the ACC, even if they make a little less each year. They should spend the next 5 years trying to maximize ACC money sources while maximizing their own. Better to be a big fish in a little smaller pond than to be a smaller fish in a big pond.
