1. We had them backed up on 1st possession of game and don’t think we adjusted to their motion resulting in an easy 1st down. Either an LB should have adjusted out or # 4 at safety rolled up
2. Love # 11 on field but at inside backer only average against the run
3. # 20 and # 18 got some reps in 3rd and long. Haven’t seen them on field much this year.
4. We seemed to be blitzing inside and/or seemed to be outflanked on several of their large perimeter runs.
5. I know # 13 is limited, but he is solid against the run and is missed there for sure
6.ETN is our best pure runner in a while. Runs hard behind his pads and has some moves. An NFL back for sure
7. Beck threw the ball well yesterday , can’t get much better against an above average SEC defense
9. # 22 blew a possession by not hitting the right hole and left way to many yards on the field
10. # 10 is young and talented but needs to make some plays instead of to many misses.
11. Thorn really played well on 3rd down. Some great runs and throws
12. One of the line judges gave us tough spots all day. Glad he got overruled on the TD.
13. The hold on # 53 was borderline outrageous, more holding on auburns TD than was on that play. Just a tough call in that situation.
14. Didn’t realize Truss moved into guard the 2nd half
15. Bobo @ center played ok, fairly good against DL, not so good when he was matched up against LB’s
16. #94 and #99 are getting good reps on DL. As has been said, overall the DL has been an improvement
17. The pass interference on us in 4th was not called as tight on them earlier.
An 18 point win against a mid level SEC team that played their best game of season is a good day for the dawgs.
