Also a battle of the 1980 national champion Georgia versus the 1981 defending national champion Clemson at the time. We stopped there 13 game-winning streak.
I was too young to attend this game, but I heard it was rockin and I believe it was on a Monday night.

In regards to loudest games in Sanford Stadium,
The two games that really stand out to me would be 2022 Tennessee and 2004 LSU
Probably followed by the night the goalpost came down
