We have been upset by the -
#1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 18, 19, and 22nd ranked teams, so we must really suck! (We did beat #9 and. #15).
THREE YEARS AGO … who would have thought we would sink this low!!!
Ok, …. I’m not happy with the way we have played. Our ball handling has been exposed, our bench has been exposed, we can’t rebound with the big boys, and our offensive creativity is Bobo like.
Am I ready to fire CMW???? Maybe, … but I’m afraid we can do worse (like the previous 3 coaches). I would only dump him if we already had a big time proven coach locked up. (After all, we’re mad as hell, - but would probably be in the top 3-5 in all the other conferences)
Can CMW build the program????
He recruits well, and we have improved each year based on the metrics. His players play hard and play good defense (much of the time), and they seem to like him.
I would demand he hire an offensive assistant coach that could put some creativity in the offense with more plays, more movement, more screens, etc.
If he is HAPPY with his offensive system… then I would definitely take him!
