The football team must have enjoyed their day off yesterday after 5 straight days of practice. First big scrimmage coming up this Saturday. Can't wait for the behind the scene's reports that you can only find on the Georgia Rivals site. (No need to thank me for the plug Dash, I'm paid up till December.)
Went to our local (Aurora) theater in Lawrenceville last night to see “Newsies”, a Disney musical. It was a real Broadway type show with plenty of singing and dancing. A great show that left you in a better spirit than when you walked in and those are the type of plays I enjoy best.
The lead in the play, Jack Kelly, had a great line that I'll leave you to ponder:
“You keep your small life in the big city. Give me a big life in a small town.”
Now that's something PW could write pages about, but I digress. Time for that 2nd cup.
