I visited Warner Robins today and left with some good news on four-star USC DL commit Isaiah Gibson. He said Georgia’s staff wasn’t upset with him committing to the Trojans, and head coach Kirby Smart was the first coach to text him after his announcement last month. And like clockwork, several other Bulldog coaches texted Gibson throughout the day letting him know “they’ll be in it until the end.” He liked that. Another good bit of news is that Gibson will be in town next weekend for the scavenger hunt and again for an official visit from May 31-June 2. He will also visit a few other schools and then weigh his options. Gibson didn’t promise he would flip, but if it happened, it would be random. Personally, from the way he talked, I don’t think he ends up at USC, but he might not end up in Athens, either. Gibson will also take official visits to Florida State, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Georgia gets two visits this month from him, which is huge. It just doesn’t sound like he’s fully committed to USC. Either way, Georgia is relentless and won’t give up and won’t quit until the ink is dry.
