not a ton to say right now. Obviously, the grand slam popped it open. But then, I thought the real key to it was the three spot that we put up in the next inning. That really hammered the game shut for all intents and purposes.
The top of Campbell’s order is pretty good, but they didn’t have much on the mound and even after three innings, it just didn’t feel like we were in any real trouble. I wish Locey could have finished the game and I wish we’d gotten our starters out sooner, but hopefully that’s not a big deal.
We really didn’t play THAT well and still won by 13 runs. Lot to be said for that.
