Been dealing with what I think is a gout flareup since last Mon (1/6). (Get them on occasion). This appears to be the longest stint of an attack I’ve had. I have Indomethacin on hand for flare ups but it hasn’t been helping. Went to doctor Monday and got a steroid shot and she put me on 7-days of Prednisone (one pill a day). Felt like the shot was helping Monday afternoon and evening, going into Tues morning but now it’s kind of reverted back to what it was before I saw doc Monday. On my 2nd day of the Pred and not having faith it’s gonna help.
Anyone have any tricks they use to help kill the flare ups? Anyone ever had a flare up last almost a week and a half? Heard people say epsom salt and tart cherry juice helps. Ice pack. Any tips or experiences with go hut and what they did would be beneficial.
