I do like desantis but Ron DeSantis shows how worthless Republicans are.

If you don’t have a strong man like Ron willing to brow beat the Republican legislator into serving the interests of their voter base nothing gets done.

Democrat legislators don’t have this issue. If they control the house and the senate the state become radically left wing, regardless of the quality of head executive. The opposite is never true.

Georgia has had a super majority “conservative” state legislature my entire life and the Georgia court of appeals is stacked with Republican judges. Is Georgia less or more right wing in 2025 than it was 2000?

Alabama? Mississippi? Etc.

Florida is because Ron DeSantis is an incredible executive not because of the Florida Republican Party.
