Referring to Jimmy Carter and approximately 200 of his presidential party in attendance, a Superdome security guard (screaming, according to a newspaper report) as soon as Georgia fans flooded the Superdome floor after beating Notre Dame: "I’ve got the damn President of the United States in here, and I can’t get him out!"
