I don't understand why we waited until halftime to make defensive adjustments. Alabama ran up and down the field in the first half, all of it going around the edge, scoring 4 easy touchdowns. The second half was a totally different story and we shut down those edge runs, but why couldn't those adjustments been made during the game? Also, why didn't we know that would be Alabama's game plan in the first place and been prepared for it? People have been running around the edge against us for two years now. It reminded me of the Oklahoma game in 2018. Our secondary coverage in that game left Oklahoma receivers wide open all over the field, then we made adjustments at half time, and shut them down in the second half. We were able to come back and eek by Oklahoma in that game, but ran out of time against Bama. Just don't understand why we dug ourselves a hole before we finally adjusted.
