Met a young lady who is from Chicago this weekend-staying with some friends while looking for a house/apartment. Just having a casual conversation about her being new here, I (mistakenly) said "I know a guy who just moved down here from Chicago-he seems to be fitting in well"...This piqued her interest. She asked me his name...I gave her his first name (don't know his last name)..she asked what he does (job)..I said I'm not sure...She asked where he lives..I said, eagerly, Duluth!...she asked me how I knew him...uh oh. I said I had never actually met him face to face..I knew him from the Dawgvent..went on to explain the Dawgvent. She said "So you are like pen pals or something?"..."You don't really know him?" I became embarrased and changed the subject.
Hard to explain the Vent sometimes...
