Folks, I wish I did not have a need to post this, but my adult child is likely getting divorced. It’s a military situation, and while we care for the other spouse, my granddaughter is not getting the care she needs. As in the military version of child services has been called multiple times by others and has been threatened to be called multiple times. Bottom line, our child needs to fight for custody when/if the divorce takes place with grandparents caring for the grandchild while a deployment or off site training is occurring (which is a lot). We have done everything we can up to this point to make suggestions, help with obtaining counseling, basic life skills courses, accountability, etc. We do not live in Georgia. The attorney in our state said we must have Georgia representation because our grandchild has spent most of her life in Georgia.
