Only Duke has played better than us in the same span. Every team in the Top 12 is a projected 7 seed or higher.
Torvik’s efficiency is one of the metrics used by the committee for evaluating teams. We are 29th over the entire year, 43rd prior to the Auburn game. This may go down as one of the most impressive performances by a bubble team down the stretch ever.
Also note that these efficiency numbers are about more than just W/L. Notice Arkansas went 3-1 over that span but is 64th? It’s a measure of how good a team is truly playing
