I know the line for Auburn is over 20 points, but that is too much. Oklahoma's defense is close to as good as UGA's, and Auburn dominated them. Auburn had over twice as many yards, first downs, etc. But for two missed field goals and a pick six, Auburn wins 27-17. Auburn has outplayed all five of the teams it has faced; it lost three of those games due only to an unbelievable number of turnovers. Those things tend to even out in the long-run, and Auburn is due for the breaks to go their way. At the same time. we just gave up four turnovers ourselves and are not immune, therefore, from doing it again. Due to the late game and travel, Auburn has had more prep and rest time. Our players have little reason to be fired up about playing a 2-3 team and may still be thinking about Ala instead of Auburn this week. Playing on the road after losing three at home may help Auburn play with less stress; teams tend to play better when more relaxed and looser. We needed Bowers to win last year; he is not here now. We should beat Auburn easily, but it will not surprise me to see us struggle.
