when Moses Malone was graduating from high school and being recruited by colleges. He never attended college, going straight to the pros from HS. But there was a rumor in those days that UGA was in the picture with Moses Malone. I don’t remember if the rumor was that he was going to visit UGA, was considering UGA or just what. Anybody ever hear anything about this? Elevator, did you hear anything about this?

I don't know how anybody would have pulled him out of the ACC.

UGA didn't do so well recruiting even in state talent in those days. Tree Rollins, Al Wood, Wayne Cooper, Jeff Malone, Skip Wise, Reggie Johnson, and many others were all GA HS players who made the NBA that somehow GA missed on.

John Guthrie, Jack Berkshire, Butch Clifton and Elevator did some great recruiting in those years.

I think Skip Wise was from Dunbar high school in Baltimore.

We had a hell of a recruiting class in 1973. Jackie and Charlie Dorsey, Tony Flanigan, Lucious Foster and Jo Jo Hicks. Never heard anything about Moses except about the Ten Commandments.
I think Skip Wise was from Dunbar high school in Baltimore.
