Since the start of 2021, we have only given up 28+ points in 3 games (2021 SECCG v Bama, 2022 SECCG v LSU and 2023 Peach Bowl v Ohio State) so there is a strong likelihood if we score 29 or more then we win the game.

Except those are the last two SECCG and 29 wouldn't have won either of them. 😉

I'd say at least 31, only because in these games they always allow more holding and physical play, except for pass interference. They may call that. For that reason the scores will probably be higher than normal.

In every loss we've had vs bama, we've failed to reach 30. The one time we got 30 or more, we won.

I'm thinking we need to score 30 at the very least.... maybe even 38 if the defense really decides to take the day off like they did vs tech.

Those offenses by Bama were far better than this version. Imop

Playing an elite rushing team as a team that still hasn't figured out how to set an edge? 35 I'd say.

You lost me at "elite rushing team". They are 6th in the conference in ypg, seventh in ypc. When you filter it to rushing vs. P5 teams, they are 7th and 9th, respectively.

gtu is a better rushing team than Bama. Bama averages 3.89 ypc vs P5 opponents.

Any way you size that up, it's not "elite".
