I think it stopped in 96 or 7 then it went to florida auburn ole miss tech and for a number of years our off weeks were both at the end of the season and were before auburn and tech (so weird)
I think it was discussed here many years ago what a screw job it was to uga because it was such a difficult end to the season to play your 3 biggest rivals to close out the year.
