Players from each team will be listed from highest points per game to the lowest, only including their top 5 players for each team in terms of points per game. If the player is a high school recruit, their rank will be listed beside their name. If they are a transfer, I’ll list where they came from.

So only 6 of the 20 players were recruited out of high school to that school. 3 of those were top 30 recruits. The rest were transfers. So if you are going the high school route, you better get some studs. This is only the second full season of the portal being fully legal. These numbers could possibly sway more to transfers in the future. I think we should continue to get both high school and transfers, but we are about to hit the portal and it can be done well. **Outlier - Tennessee finished 5th in the sec this year. They are a complete outlier. Their top 5 guys all came from high school recruited by them. Their top 4 players were unranked. The fifth most productive player is a 5* freshman. Truly elite job by their staff by identifying talent and keeping them.
