the NIT is sort of like the loser’s bracket, it’s sort of an embarrassment and our team was not in a good place emotionally to continue the season. It would have been awkward if MF had continued to coach the team. I was impressed that Yante asked MF to leave the room while the players discussed it and voted. GET MATTA, GO DAWGS!!
I am glad we did not accept the NIT bid.....
