I am voting for Donald Trump because he professes and promotes a system of government that demands individual State sovereignty (which is constitutional).

I am voting for Donald Trump because he understands that the ONLY way to be an independent nation and lower costs to citizens on basic staples is to be energy independent. He understands that our cost of goods to families is dependent on the cost to move goods to families.

I am voting for Donald Trump because he understands that in the process of being energy independent, the economy fires up as industries fire back up. This revives family incomes and resurrects small cities and towns.

I am voting for Donald Trump because he is respectfully feared internationally. The U.S. HAS to be the sheriff internationally.

I am voting for Donald Trump because he understands you cannot tax the citizen into prosperity.

Now, I’ll throw a prognostication out here: IF you receive any comments from those that will be voting for Harris, you may actually not get a single response that actually talks about a postive reason they are voting for Harris. What you will get, is a bunch of reasons that all distill into “she is not Donald Trump”.

It would be highly interesting to deTrumpify your list into a series of yes/no questions, agnostic to an individual candidate, and measure the yes/no votes of agreement. With the exception of one question (abortion), I venture that a significant majority of the Chat, including those that lean left, agree with what you list as valid principles.
