I've seen on here. Many on here explained away his attitude about playing as being a common trait of a freshman. Heck, even the ugasports.com staff went that route when you tried to find an answer.

Yet no one ever could give an example of a freshman in UGA history or even NCAA football history like that. Heck, we've had six freshmen since him who have played significant roles carrying the ball 15 or more times in a game. Never heard any of them complain about the beating they were taken.

It was a twilight zone period.
