I have an NIL deal going with a Texas player. Only started there because my corporate headquarters for this company is in Austin and it was easy to get with him and get it rolling. We are about ready to introduce it at UGA. With that being said, it is a type of participation program. He has to do things to get the money. If he leaves Texas, I dont care, he can do these things via social media no matter where he goes.
What happens with Walter Nolans NIL? Or any other player that has a deal and then hits the portal? I am not paying my guy to help UT football, I am paying him to promote my business and I dont give a rats ass about the longhorns. I am more than certain that whomever is paying Nolan is paying him to go play for the Aggies. What happens? Does he owe them money back? Does he just keep the portion he has been paid? Was he paid any upfront that they now want back?
