The point guard role at uga is completely settled like we have thought. I finally was able to watch the championship game of Savo’s and watching 6-7 of his games altogether, the kid is a dude. Handles are nice, mid range is nice, nice from deep, nice at the rim, nice vision/passing. Very high basketball IQ with understanding offensive spacing and philosophy. Better defender than I thought, high motor. He knows when to shoot and when to be patient. He can lose it some when pressured heavily, so that will be his biggest weakness, but I think he might be strong enough in the other areas that he gets the rock. And I don’t think that sends Demary to the bench. He can slide over to the three and be Jrue Holiday type. Not completely sure on this, but I’m telling you it’s closer than we think. Or closer than I ever thought. I initially thought we were just taking a flyer on someone late in the process. No, this kid can play.
