I think someone is trying to justify their own flaws by assuming that Christians say one thing and do another. How many people do you know that say they are a plumber or carpenter or electrician, but can't do the job? You can say your a Christian you can have membership papers from a church but that doesn't make you a Christian. You need to read and study more about what a Christian really is. Saying your a Christian don't make you one.
I don't push Christianity on anyone but am not going to let someone defraud it because of someone that offended them. Did not appreciate the fact that you lumped all Christians in a pile of hypocrites and weirdos. This is a place to talk about sports and the team we love not to attack someone's faith
I did not. There are many people that I have a great deal of respect for. I can smell a fraud a mile away. When I mention creepy Christians, I'm not talking about all of them. That is what you heard, that is not what I said. There are many that I hold in very high regard. It's religion that rubs me the wrong way and creeps me out. Christianity and religion are not one and the same. Actually, they are contrary to each other.
I agree that religion and Christianity are not the same. In that I mean you can be religious and not be a Christian. Christians get a bad reputation because so many do claim to be Christians and live like the devil. I don't look down on people who are not Christians but wished they knew what it was to be a real Christian. I was once were they are and was no better. Just want to make it clear that I do not put myself above anyone. Salvation is a choice and a gift that anyone can have or reject.sorry if I misunderstood.
