That has probably changed a bit since basketball has disappointed a bit this year, but the athletic department is 5th in the country in revenue. He just got a raise and a contract extension through 2030 so he isn’t going anywhere.
As far as hires, I would rate the results (to this point) as follows:
Baseball - excellent
Soccer - excellent
Women's Tennis - excellent
Men's Tennis - very good
Track and Field - very good
Softball - very good
Swimming - meh
MBB - meh
WBB - yikes
Gymnastics - TBD
