I went tonight with a good friend who is a hs ump and UGA grad. First batter and we misplay the foul ball, guy gets on and boom, 2 run HR. We started the game at a .955 fielding % and it only got worse. 3 more HBP. More walks...and believe it or not, pitching was NOT the problem.
Baseball is pitching/hitting/fielding, and we only did one of those tonight (if it was bad in spots, we typically pitched out of it). But how frustrating.
