I’m 31 now, so aging, but nowhere near the age of a lot of you. My question is: is it normal to feel like sports in the past were better than sports now? Is that just a part of growing up, or were sports really better back in the day? Is it just because sports are different when you’re a kid and don’t pay attention to the money and BS involved? Or is money really that much more involved than it used to be? Could phones and social media be doing a number to sports?
I ask because it all just feels different now, but idk if it’s because it actually is much more different or I’m just getting older, with more responsibilities, and it’s normal. It just seems like all of it, MLB, NFL, college football, NASCAR, we’re all better in the 90s and early 2000s. Im
Not talking about anything to do with wins or records, just the sports in general.
So is it me, or is it normal, or are the sports really change that much? What y’all think?
