Watching halftime of this Rice-Texas State bowl game and they keep showing commercials for the CFP and I just still can’t believe we aren’t in it. There is no way we weren’t 1 of the 4 best teams this year. How we dropped from consensus #1 in the country to #6 because of a 3 point loss at a neutral site still makes no sense. And don’t get me started on the SECCG… Missed FG, turnover on our own 10 yard line, passive play calling, the 4th down ‘catch’ and we still could/should have won. Just an incredibly frustrating game all around. Ugh. Sorry, rant over.
