Obviously no excuses for our own self-induced mistakes.
I did think as the game wore on that Trent Dilfer appears to be doing a pretty good job, especially for month 1 of season 1 in that job. I found his pregame comments VERY interesting. A former Super Bowl winning QB who stated emphatically without any hesitation in his interview that a Georgia game at night was a far superior environment to the Super Bowl. I mean, we already knew that ourselves, but to hear someone who’s been in the arena say that was…interesting.
He appears to be a pretty good fit for coaching at the college level. His energy is a good fit & I could see how he would be a good teacher. I won’t be shocked if he gets a bigger job in 2-3 yrs.
(Don’t miss him on espn though lol. I find him personally very likable, but didn’t care for him on the studio broadcasts)
