I was just watching Fox News, and Brett Baier had a report on NIL …

A graphic showed the CFP teams with NIL of each team. He said Texas is number one with $24 million, followed by Georgia with $23 million. Is that correct?

We have all been making a big deal out of Ohio State’s $21 million team, but we are ahead of them?

Without proof of contracts to review, don't see how anyone knows who is spending what. If there is an agreement in place doubt it is open to the public.

would like to know who keeps up with what is being spent per team, is nil the only legal way to pay players, are players now only paid via nil, is there a limit for nil$ or however you give $ (outside of nil) to players…can the oracle (Larry Ellison) wife pay say 10 or more players like she helped pay for Michigan’s new qb?

It’s all about how you manage the money. Some schools spend most of the NIL on portal players and high school studs. Other schools may take the smarter path and spend most of the money on the players they already have on campus (to enhance team cohesiveness). Either way it’s a slippery slope, no doubt.

I think those are collective numbers. I don’t know what that means yet or if money is coming from somewhere else too

We're no doubt in the top tier of NIL spending, but no way are we out spending tOSU, Michigan and maybe Oregon. Texas is a given, not sure what's up with A&M.

How the fook did I end up on Dawgchat? I guess clicking on a thread that says Fox News in it is the magic formula. Oh well, adios!

You think we have one of the top 3 rosters in college football without a top 3 NIL payroll?

UGA spends an absolute fortune and the executive action by Governor Kemp allowed us to increase our spend even more.

We are huge spenders.
we are definitely top 5 in NIL and could be better
