It seems like he’s lost mental toughness. With that game against UNCW, the ump’s zone threw him off and threw his pitching off. That led to an early outing and an okay but not really great outing against UNCW. Then, today, he just seemed like he lost the ability to mentally push through. When they put those bunts down it’s like it broke him (granted, as well as the team). I’ve praised him with his midseason turnaround and how he seemed like he was in control and could slow the game down to his liking. Hasn’t been the case these last two starts. Just seems like moment is a little big for him. Am I way off?
