(this is for those who believe we are not elite, at least not yet)

TLDR: We are basically the same team all around (marginally better or worse in certain areas) that we were last year, except when it comes to Red Zone TD% allowed. Yes, I don't expect us to stop a team when they get a turnover 1st and goal from the 1, but again, this is the only area where there is a stark difference between previous years.

National rankings...

Offense:
3rd in 3rd down conversion %
4th in plays 10+ yds
9th in plays 20+ yds
14th in plays 30+ yds
16th in plays 40+ yds
Anything beyond that is kinda random, as it depends on a lot of factors including just where you are on the field.

5th in ypg
9th in ypp

Defense:
2nd in 3rd down conversion % allowed
8th in plays 10+ yds per game allowed
5th in plays 20+ yds per game
7th in plays 30 + yds per game
13th in plays 40+ yes per game (3 total in 7 games)

Turnover margin we are even, which is 63rd. That is obviously not elite, but by the letter of the word, average. For context, last year we ranked 62nd. '21, we ranked 40th. It's not exactly a zero-sum game nationally in terms of ranking (overall it is, of course).

Red Zone Defense, TD% allowed. 1st in '21, 2nd in '22, 119th so far this year.
Red Zone Offense, TD%: 59th. 30th in '22, 63rd in '21.
