If chalk holds up could a 10-2 Ole Miss really miss the playoffs?

Texas/ATM is an elimination game. Neither team will have the resume to get in without this win. The winner is in the CFP by virtue of making the SECG. I don’t think the committee will penalize the loser of the SECCG.

Bama is in if they win out even with a loss in the SECCG.

Georgia is in if they win out by virtue of wins over Texas, Tenn and Clemson.

This is where it gets interesting. With 10-2 Texas, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

Texas is out. Best win is at Vandy.

Out of Tennessee and Ole Miss who has the worst loss? That would be Ole Miss losing to Kentucky at home. Who has the best win? That would be Tennessee beating possible SEC champ Alabama. Tennessee looks to have the better resume over Ole Miss.

So does a 10-2 Ole Miss get left out over a 10-2 Tennessee, and 11-1 PSU, Indiana and ND?

Lane would lose his sht.
