It's not about him being an answer to our problems, but we've had enough close games that he may have made a difference in some. I don't know how much he can help, but, imo, it's past time to give him an opportunity. He has a court vision, under control, savvy style that always got my interest when I was scouting and recruiting. Those are things you can't teach. Only Asa of our other bigs has those qualities. I have no idea how much he can help, but he has made a few plays in very limited minutes that if I were coaching would make me want to find out. Somto is dragging, RJ has solid outing every 2-3 games, but he has none of the qualities of Absom.
Every game he had some decent minutes he drew praise from the announcers, which only means they saw something too. He may not be the player I think, but what have we got to lose by finding out.
