If Hines Ward really wanted to be on Kirby's staff, He'd already be on it..

I know he loves UGA, but saying he'd like Kirby to hire him is disingenuous.
IF that were the case, all he had to do would have to have done is ask before all the assistants were hired. I don't imagine KS would have passed on an opportunity to have Hines as his receivers' coach.

Still, it can't hurt to have a man like HW drumming up support, he seems to appeal to every known geographic. Well maybe not the anti-dancing crowd, if there is such a thing.

I think what would be cool is if we get guys like him on sidelines.

There are numerous former players at every game and I mean several and Every game... but I guess they don't show that on TV so I see how you over look it.

There's no guarantee Hines would be a good coach. Often great players make poor coaches. Besides, I have a hard time believing either he or his wife would take a pay cut, nor would they really want to work longer, harder hours.

Our UGA and AD marketing folks (still not sure we have any) should milk this for all it's worth, whether Kirby or the UGAAA does or not.
