I'm starting to believe

They are paying them any way they can to bring cases against Trump. It isn’t hard to understand. It isn’t normal for a prosecutor to be vacationing all over the planet. Especially in fani’s case, where Fulton county is in severe distress. Clarence got a 9-0 vote buddy. Sorry. You got shot down like Jack smith on that one. 9-0 is as bad as it gets. I am sure you don’t like a Supreme Court consisting of 6-3 conservative hearing cases. Same way Trump doesn’t want to lose another case due to a left of left judge. Common sense much. Don’t blame his arguement. And there is a massive conflict of interest. I am sure I want a ref whose daughter is getting paid ten million from bama to ref our game in tusky next year. Maybe that hits home.
So, paid vacations are bad, unless it’s millions of dollars in paid vacations, most of them unreported, for a SCOTUS Justice whose wife was texting the Trump Chief of Staff with truly insane election conspiracy nonsense and demanding the administration take action. Action like the fake elector plot and J6.

Seems perfectly clear.

You glossed over all of those paid vacations dolled out to the tds minions. If you believe it is on the up and up will, Honestly that is on you. I really believe you know better but just don’t care. I would respect that opinion more than a defense of what is happening. Which is nothing more than a witch hunt. There is one real case here. Out of all of these. The rest is just bs used to win an election. Or to get back at dt for all of his enemies made while a Democrat and republican. Which you seem to love.
This is spot on. His only care is to see trump banished. All that what about our democracy talk was just bull skate. He doesn't give one tinker toy about our democracy if the dims are the one destroying it.

When did he rule on j6. He ruled on the ballot idiocy. He reported his relationship with the vacation giver back in the 90’s. The Supreme Court was so satisfied by what Clarence did they voted 9-0. Even the democrats on scotus told voices like yours to hush. You are wrong. There are 9 judges on the Supreme Court. Clarence has voted pretty conservatively which is what people thought. But he is one vote. This guy is the judge in the case. One judge. Surely you can see the difference. If you remember correctly, your brethren threatened the scotus to rule they way they want them to. Said payback is coming. The responded. 9-0 when the dem congress tried to come after them.

Paying prosecutors off to try cases isn’t a good thing. And it is happening all over the country. One voice in those cases.

Given you have such faith in the SCOTUS to police itself in the case of Thomas, I’m sure you have the same faith regarding the justice system to do the same in the case of Merchan and the various prosecutors causing you such ire.

Sounds like we are good to go.

Will is right he does not take anyone on the right as a reputable source, its either, mother jones, some far left twitter poster no one has ever heard of, cnn, nbc, msnbc, nyt, wap0, the Atlantic, or the DNC daily talking points for him or bust.

Will is also right, no dim is ever gonna vote not to murder innocent babies. Unfortunately, it seems that the morals have values of our country have sank to the point where a majority of people think the most important, number 1 issue, is the ability to kill babies. Never mind we are being invaded with the aid of the dim party and the economy for the non elite's is wrecked.

With the help of the media, and the level of evil and corruption in the dim party, Trump has no chance. They don't care about polls. They have the doj/fbi and lots of judges and prosecutors on their side They can lie without question and their voters believe every word. Some here will still argue that Trump colluded with russia russia russia even today. Some will defend all things biden, hillary and schiff etc, and they are supposedly smart dims.

Agreed that it is and will be an issue. Which is why Trump will smartly move the party to a place that gives the media nowhere to go. Expect him to announce a reasonable position. Abortion should be legal for the first 15 weeks and longer in case of rape, health of mother etc.
And right on cue…

The problem is, there can be no compromise when a very significant percentage of your base believes abortion is murder and God is on their side. It’s quite a tightrope the GOP needs to walk.

Of course I find it easier to believe in scotus. There have been thousands of crooked judges. Not nearly the same when it comes to judges appointed to scotus. They are supposed to be the best of the best. This guy is a hack for sale. Lord. The property case judge is the biggest quack I have ever seen in my life. He looks like a pedo. The judge in Atlanta is worse. All he did was rule in a way he could get reelected. Democrat DA’s are on the take all over the country. Running on a pledge to take one person down. Then taking paid vacations, or getting your boy toy paid nearly a million dollars to try a case. One condition, he has to take you on trips all over the world.

Letits got 250000 from her campaign to take trips, see consultants and eat at the finest restaurants. This is a really good idea. She decided she had to go to Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷. She is years away from reelection as well. 🤦‍♂️

There is no doubt in my mind that the coordinated attacks on Trump are working against the dems. This is why I think the Republicans should back off of impeachment proceedings for Biden. It is a political loser. They won’t back off but they should.

Dude.

You're ripping the GOP? At least they debate among themselves. The DEMS of today are lemmings who follow orders like all good little Marxists do. You're entitled to your opinion, and if you hate the Pubs, that's your prerogative, but don't act all high and mighty. Don't forget, your side ran Bobby's boy out of the party. Literally pushed out a Kennedy.

I see doom for your side. The Tea Party can't hold a candle to the anti-US, far left woke socialists that are currently running the show on your side.

You are misreading my post as I’m not ripping or judging anyone.

I’m simply pointing out that abortion is a political challenge for the GOP. When one believes that abortion is murder and that belief is deeply rooted in one’s faith, compromise is not on the table. For a very significant percentage of the GOP base, abortion at fifteen weeks is just as much of a murder as abortion at twenty four weeks.

This fact hamstrings Trump or anyone else trying to find a middle ground that better aligns with popular opinion on the topic. Everyone knows that meaningful power players in the GOP want a national abortion ban (murder is murder) and that it is far more likely to happen under Trump than Biden.

The kind of thinking heard hear from Rep. Jim Banks is prevalent amongst much of the GOP. Again, in this case I’m not judging, I’m simply pointing out that much of the GOP hold a deeply unpopular opinion on the topic with no room for compromise.

I believe this will impact the outcome of the election, but there are certainly other factors at play as well.

No doubt it is the republican’s Israel / Gaza issue. That said I don’t see evangelicals breaking against Trump. I don’t think any of them really believe he’s a good person to begin with. And those who do won’t be moved. Their support is pretty assured regardless.

I don't care about abortion. It's a states issue and each state can decide. Local decision is best on that issue anyway. The only ppl who care are the crazies who dream it'll tip the election. The majority of the country is fine with 12-18 weeks. After that, support dramatically falls off. But this year it doesn't matter. It's about the border and the economy. If an international event occurs, like Iran attacking Israel or China taking Taiwan, it'll be a landslide for all GOP candidates.

Abortion is way down this list this year.

Entirely unsurprising that abortion is way down the list for you. Your demo is not exactly who I would expect it to be a priority for.

It’s less evangelicals breaking from Trump and more GOP rhetoric impacting the middle and driving Dem turnout. Even if Trump makes a fifteen week ban part of his platform, it’s not going to be particularly believable that the GOP will commit to it moving forward.

Of course this is just my opinion, but as I said above, don’t be surprised if the reaction to GOP abortion efforts has a much larger impact than you anticipate.

Why should abortion be so important to me? Who are you to determine what's more important than other issues? I'm fairly certain the issues I find more important are less so with you. Yet, I don't act elitist about it.

The issues I find more important appear to be more important this year too with the majority of voters. I'm also on board with letting Israel finish the damn job once and for all. If you don't agree, IDGARA.

Why respond to him. He only parrots the talking points of the left from a self righteous perch. Yet pretends he is the sensible one. He and others can not see how the morals and standards are being thrown aside for personal beliefs and preferences. He will see it before long when he is cast aside just like other liberals have been because they still hold to some sliver of a standard.

You keep misreading my posts, so perhaps I am not doing a good job of communicating my thoughts.

Of course, I'm not telling you what issues should be important for you. What I'm saying is that it is not surprising, if my assumptions are correct about your demographic profile, that abortion is not a priority for you. I'm guessing you aren't a suburban female or an independent/moderate voter with a history of voting for candidates from both parties. Your vote isn't in play and neither is Lowcountry's. For the people whose votes are in play, and who will ultimately decide the election, I think abortion is an issue. Recent ballot measures and GOP underperformance in elections seem to bear this out, but as I've said elsewhere, this is going to be an unusual election with a number of potential wildcards impacting the outcome.

I think I do as thorough a job as anyone on here in explaining what I think and why I think it. You don't have to agree with me, but suggesting I'm only parroting left wing talking points says more about you than it does me and suggesting that conservatives have cornered the market on morals is high irony given DJT is your standard-bearer.

I look forward to spending the next month or two hearing in court the thrice married, serial cheater reviewing his relationship with the porn star who gave him a BJ while his third wife was home with the newborn. I'll be sure and have my kids tune for that great lesson in morals and standards.

Can you define what a woman is? Do you believe euthanasia is okay? Is it okay for someone under 18 to be able to decide to chop off body parts?
Can you provide answers to what you personally believe on those questions?

Both sides are messed up for sure. But one side is denying basic biology and truths to placate the fringes of their party. I know that we are all flawed at best. Most politicians do not care about the long term future of our country. I think the left is ignoring basic truths/science and pushes narratives that undermine the basic principles that kept this country heading in the right direction.
Trump is nothing to be proud of as a person in a lot of areas. Biden is not any better. Their individual flaws are many and I would prefer to have someone else as our President. But that is not an option and I think Trump’s policies are better for the country in the short term and long term. They both are very divisive and push the buttons of the other side. This causes both sides to focus on the negatives and does nothing to bring both sides together towards common goals and unity.

Yes, I can define a woman and I’m guessing my definition and the definition of the people I know who are voting Dem aligns very well with your definition. I also think that anyone born a biological man shouldn’t compete in women’s sports, regardless of any changes they’ve gone through.

Beyond that, I don’t care what someone wants to be called or what their sexual preferences are as long as it involves consenting adults.

Treat others with dignity and respect, particularly those less advantaged than yourself, and you are 90+% of the way there to being considered a good person in my book. Everything else is noise.

I agree with you as do most people.

The problem the controlling elite think differently.

The fabric of our society is being ripped apart. Both sides have played a part in this and only want to point at the other groups failures. This in my opinion is caused by focusing on our differences versus focusing on our commonalities. I think 65 to 75% of the people in the US align on a lot of issues. Social media and the main stream media(both sides) push the areas of contention to a point that it drives a wedge between the political parties and most people. The narratives are so sensationalized that it causes people to react and not to pause and think. Emotion trumps logic and rational thought and debate and discourse halts.

Here’s a short and incomplete list of things that people like yourself promised were going to destroy the country:

Breaking with the UK.
Catholic immigrants.
Abolition of slavery.
Reasonable labor laws.
Women’s suffrage.
‘50s Red scare.
Long-haired Hippies (who grew up to become the yuppies of the ‘80s).
Vietnam protests.
Integration and civil rights.
Gay rights.
‘80s satanic panic.

People have been promising that this or that given new development was going to lead to the downfall of the country for generations, and yet here we are, unquestionably the wealthiest and most powerful nation in the history of the earth.

We have our issues, no doubt, but we’ve shown ourselves to be a fairly resilient bunch. The one thing that could take us down is if enough of our citizens decide elections don’t count when they don’t like the outcome. Take away our ability to collectively decide who we want in office and the entire system of checks and balances comes down with it.

40 to 50 Trillion in debt in next 2 years ..unfunded liabilities of Social Secutity and Medicare of 175 Trillion $$ and growing. Entitlements and social welfare benefits for the God knows how many illegal immigrants that have been allowed into the country let alone our own legal citizens that collect these benefits. What is your solution for these issues ? ..Austerity measures ??

It is ironic that all happened while he had the big Democrat next to his name. Now the nda is an issue and must be know. No issues Till now. I wonder why. He was a Democrat, liberal elite star on nbc at the time. How times change.

You ever ask why he won that old diversity award from Jessie. He forced all the clubs in Florida to stop discriminating against black and Jewish members. Even used his own money to help bring lawsuits forward. Isn’t that a hoot. I actually didn’t know that till Monday of this week.

You are saying that folks are openly trump supporters but secretly not? In a world where being a trump supporter is tantamount to being a serial murder? I think you have it mixed up. I guarantee you I don’t wear trump on my sleeve. Especially in business settings or around certain friends.

But damned right I’m voting for him in the booth.

The “secret supporter” dynamic has proven to help trump in general elections from day 1. No one saw him winning in 2016. And he was supposed to get landslid in 2020. Shit was close. The media was in full panic mode at about 10 PM
The 3 am mail in voter demo was 100% for Biden. 🙂

Trump is an asshole no doubt. But dude couldn’t “destroy democracy” even if he wanted to. And honesty it is easy to make an argument that “legal” or not, the use of the justice system to try to take him out is as bad as the whole J6 “coup”

All fair points but I think the first part of your post kind of supports the idea that the second part will never freaking happen no matter all the “destroy democracy” rhetoric. I’m theory you are right just like in theory an unarmed protest could overthrow the government.

Your main point is spot on - that all the “were all gonna die” rhetoric is bullshit on both sides. Pendulum swings too far every time and the country responds.

Your last comment is interesting. I actually think the exact opposite. Trump's a deal maker. Biden is the one who won't budge. Because he's not really in charge.
100%
In some cases it's 25 year old white house staffer bozo activists who are sneaking shit right past Biden because he has dementia ... and they're getting away with it because the media loves the outrage it causes. Occasionally Biden gets asked about policies implemented and he has no idea what they're talking about. That's fkn dangerous.
The worst part is they are killing our military. We are behind in so many areas now that it is unlikely we can catch up if push comes to shove. We just won't have enough time ... nor do we have civilian leadership in place who know what to do.
It makes me think our military has something up their sleeve that neither fairly well informed formers such as me, and certainly the idiots pulling shit at the white house don't know about. Because otherwise, the military would/should have stepped in by now. That's how serious it is.

Trump is an asshole no doubt. But dude couldn’t “destroy democracy” even if he wanted to. And honesty it is easy to make an argument that “legal” or not, the use of the justice system to try to take him out is as bad as the whole J6 “coup”
It's far worse. Weaponizing the justice system is straight out of
Lavrentiy Beria's playbook.

No system of law is perfect. When the spirit of the law is usurped because the letter of the law is not perfect, how long before dictatorship? Not long.

Trump underperformed the polling. I can’t say for sure why he underperformed, but he did.

The anti-abortion forces also underperformed the polling in both the KS and OH abortion ballot measures.

We will see.
Your guy is behind in every poll I’ve seen outside of Mother Jones. Trump just doubled the $$ haul that Biden gained art Radio City 2 weeks ago with Obama and Bubba holding his hand.

Just a few weeks ago, I felt there was no way Trump could win. But my opinion is “evolving” (ne Barry). Every metric is turning against Jomentia bc he’ stupid and continues to make stupid decisions.
