It's been several years since I last parked at the intramural fields and took the shuttle to the stadium, but my brother and I are currently considering it for the Tech game on Friday. $125+ for a parking pass seems insane, and we won't be able to get to Athens until around 4:30 p.m. (or to the intramural fields until probably 5:30).
With that in mind, is there even a chance we could still get into the intramural fields that late in the day? If not, what alternatives would you recommend elsewhere, ideally for under $100?
(As for the wisdom of me attending this game given the weather/temperature and my medical condition, I'm knowingly taking some risks. I haven't been able to attend a game since last year's Tech game, and this will be my first home game since 2022. My brother was given tickets to this one for free, which is a big relief.)
