Let me start by saying I have been one of the biggest Warren McClendon fans the last few years and have laughed when anyone has mentioned potentially moving him out of the RT spot... BUT, I wonder if it might be time to make the move to Mims?
If you rewatch the Auburn game, our whole run game and offense jump started in the second quarter once Mims came in at RT. His size and athleticism is just different. You can see top 10 draft pick type of talent just watching him play. Now I’m sure there are still technique areas he needs to be better at but I think we should go ahead and start getting him ready now for when it really matters at the end of the season. Very similar to when B-Jones started a few games at LT last year when Jamaree was hurt and we then needed him in the National Championship.
