… Jerry Rice is at receiver across from a Kirby Smart coached defense, stopping the run is and ALWAYS will be priority No. 1 for Georgia.

Analysis that says, “Cody Schrader will have a big game b/c UGA will be focused so much on the pass” hasn’t been watching the Kirby era. IT’S ALL ABOUT STOPPING THE RUN with the fewest men in the box as possible. If that’s 5, you’re getting stuff in a locker. If that’s 6, then you’re going to pick up some underneath passing stuff, but eventually you’re getting shut down. If you can run it well enough or be athletic enough at QB were safeties consistently are having to get involved for Georgia, then you have a shot.

If anything, I believe MIZ hits some explosive passes early, because Georgia isn’t going to change its plan. Ultimately DBs will either win or lose some one-on-one battles. However, Georgia is always going to be determined to stop the run first. Make the opponent one dimensional and then get after the passer
